Kansas Blanks Florida Behind O'Day Thursday, August 12th , 2060 It wasn't easy but the Kansas Rainbeaus made it look that way. Starter P.J. O'Day shut out the Florida Men despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Kansas Rainbeaus cruised to victory, 6-0. O'Day allowed only 5 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
